I am interested in the origin of the name "Chemollie" which refers to the 1 sq mile of land set aside in Article 2 of the Indian Springs Treaty of 1821. This Reserve was on the E bank of the Flint R and W of the Womble Cr-Potato Cr junction. The Reserve was said to be the home of my Cherokee-Creek GGGM. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. --
