She was an aged lady, the 17th of June making her 87 years old. She leaves a son and several grandchildren to mourn her death. She was a good, honest, and submissive Christian lady. She joined the church while young, and has been a constant member ever since. It is very true that we will say, “Oh, I can’t give my mother up,” but God is a righteous God. When He sees fit to call we must obey His call. Her funeral was preached at Foster Cemetery by Rev. W. H. Graham. May the bereaved family be made sensible of their dependence upon God, who giveth everyone liberally that seek Him with an undivided heart. Revive their hearts and fill them with love to God. May He that rules on high, that calms the raging ocean and brings harmony out of confusion, come into their hearts. Oh God of Love attend them grace and give them true submission to Thy will. 3. Wayne, I do appreciate all of the Foster information that you are sharing. I remember back when you asked about my Mary Foster and I still have only her name. My Mary B. Foster married Andrew Crawford and they are my 4th generation Grandparents on my Mothers side of the family. They had Joseph Crawford and he married Saleria Smith. They had Robert Frank who married Martha Emma Jane Cochran. They had Eddie Montgomery Crawford who married Annie Pope Banks and they had my grandfather Robert Clark Crawford who married my grandmother Lilla Inez Chappell. I have information on some of these lines but not all. I remember you had mentioned a Foster family grave site somewhere between Neal and Concord. I did ask about this but have not found anyone as yet who knows anything about it...mainly because the older people who might know are just about all gone. I am going to send your information to my Lifsey cousin...on my Fathers side...we will probably have a connection with that line...I will let you know. Thanks again for your wonderful information.
