I am searching for the burial site of a Civil War Veteran, Robert M. Ford. Born 8/15/1841, enlisted: Co. K, 5th Ga. for 4 years. Was discharged: Greensboro, NC. May 1865. Died 4/05/1908, Thomaston Ga. I have visited Thomaston twice and have been unable to find the burial site for this Veteran. Information states he was living in an Old Soldiers Home, which I have also been unable to find. He was married to a Sarah Ann Barrow, (died before he did) which I have not been able to find a burial site for. I would appreciate any help or information one may wish to share.
