There is a website that lists former and current place names for Georgia counties: http://www.cviog.uga.edu/Projects/gainfo/pncounty.htm There was a *Jugtown* in Pike County, but there is none listed for Upson. It might have been a community that was so close to the Pike/Upson county lines that it crossed over from one to another. Just an idea.
