I am related to George's adopted mother Lucy A Littlejohn, who was Jonathan Lamar Smith's first wife. Jonathan's sister Mary Ann Elizabeth Smith married Lucy's brother James M Littlejohn. I have a good bit of infomration on the Littlejohn line, but have not been able to piece together the descendants of Goerge and Myrtice, and to find out if anyone is still in the Thomaston area. I did find the wonderful photos of this family online at the Vanishing Georgia archives site, and was given another photograph (looks to be taken on the same day) from some of Mary A E Smith Littlejohn's descendents from Alabama.
