Found them on the 1870 census with Mary as head of household with offsprings, Susan, Tucker, Samuel, Allen Jesse, Fletcher, Daniel Webster and Lester. (ranging in age 22 to 3) Have found Samuel's family in Macon at present and we know of Fletcher and Allen's. but we are coming up with the same brick wall....... the father... who, according to death certificates on Samuel, Fletcher, Allen and Webster ( my Papa) , is named Daniel. We cannot find records of him anywhere.. Samuel and Webster both married and moved in 1890's to Talbot County in Redbone District. Allen Jesse and Fletcher also married and remained in Upson. I found a Jesse D. Beall marrying a Mary Fickling in Taylor County, just across the county line in 1846 and know this Jesse D. Beall fought at Chicamauga with my late mother's great-grandfather, John Gilbert of Upson County ( who's family cemetery is on Jeff Davis Road in Upson County). Anybody out there have any ideas?
