He was a noted ministering Towaliga primitive Baptist association, and was pastor of Liberty church near where the writer was raised, for several years before the war. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Hillcrest Cemetery in Reynolds. The Revs. Wesley Jones and Phillip McMinn will officiate. A native of Upson County, Mrs. Waters lived in Taylor County most of her life. She was a member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Reynolds and the Taylor County Senior Citizens Club. She was a homemaker and was the widow of Clem Waters. Survivors include a daughter, Louise Hinton of Reynolds; a son, J. W. Waters of Reynolds; two granchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, teh family requests donations to Reynolds United Methodist Church or to First Baptist Church in Reynolds. Goddard Funeral Home in Reynolds has charge of arrangements. Blasingame Passes Away Judge Thomas J. B. Blasingame died at his home in Zebulon Wednesday last, after a three months illness. He was born in Monroe county April 5, 1840, moved to Upson and went there to the Confederate army as a member of Co. I, 32nd Ga. Reg. and lost his arm. He became a Lieutenant in his company. Soon after the war he came to Pike where he taught school for a number of years until 1873 when he was elected Ordinary to fill the unexpired term of Ordinary Eppinger who had died. He served as Ordinary, Tax Receiver and Clerk Superior Court and made a splendid official. He was married to Miss Celia Adams, sister of Mr. R.D. Adams in August 1864 and to them five children were born, Jas. C. Blasingame, of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Lena Ridley who died early in this year, Mrs. Sallie Coleman, of Apalachicola, Fla., Richard Blasingame, of Atlanta, and Jack Blasingame. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Benjamin Blasingame, of Ashburn, John W. Blasingame, of Culloden, David A Blasingame, of Musella, Mrs. Elizabeth Waller, of Zebulon, Mrs. Nancy Childs and Miss Mary Blasingame, of Musella. Judge Blasingame was one of the best known citizens of the county and highly esteemed for his many noble traits of character. Though he lost his arm in the Confederate army, yet he was a man of wonderful energy. He united himself with the Baptist church when a young man. His funeral services were conducted by his nephew, Rev. W.W. Childs, of Yatesville. His remains were interred by the side of his wife in Zebulon, who died many years ago. The friends of the bereaved family extend them sympathy in their sorrow. Found this on Micro film. The middle GA Thomaston Times June 1884 Death has again visited this city Mrs. Harriet Emma Sandwich Daniel Wife of T. H.. Daniel and sister of Judge J. C. Sandwich of Thomaston and Mrs. J. C. McDaniel Mrs. Daniel died last Wednesday about twelve o'clock at her mothers house. She was forty years old. She had a painful illness. She married November 26th. 1863 and was the mother of six children. The article goes on.

While looking through a January edition of the Thomaston Times I found this article. It talk about Mr. W. J. Zorn 's Plantation On December the 18 ( 1881 ) last on the plantation of Mr. W. J. Zorn in this County There was a difficulty between Two colored women Many Walker and Mattie bell in which Fracas Mandy Walker received injuries and .........Died at the hands of Mattie Bell......
