Mrs. Grant was a native of Talbot County. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. A native of Upson County, Mr. Granger had been a resident of Taylor County since 1969. He was a retired machinest and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Nancy Johnson Granger, his wife, Marlene Reese Granger of Thomaston, three sons; Michael Steve, David A., both of Thomaston, Gerry J. Granger of Butler, one daughter, Cynthia Ann Granger also of Thomaston, one sister, Mrs. Emory Harris of Butler. Two grandchildren also survive. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gilbert was a native of Upson County. She was a member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter( not printed) of Thomaston, three brothers, Mr. John M. Stewart and Mr. Aldine Stewart, both of Thomaston, and Mr. Walter Stweart of Greenville, AL. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning, March 12, at 11 a.m. in The Rock United ethodist Church with the Rev. Bill DuBose and the Rev. Colin Dacus officiating. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Burial will follow in The Rock United Methodist Church Cemetery. A native of Upson County, Mr. Greene was an employee of Holcomb Carpet Co. and a retired emplopyee of Rhodes Furniture, retiring in 1973 after 43 years of service. He was a member of The Rock United Methodist Church where he served as a slay leader, a member of the board of Stweards, and superintendent of Sunday School. He was an Army Verernan of World War 11 and a member of Pete Thurston Post 81 of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cora Winkles Greene of Thomaston, one son, Mr. Eddie Greene of The Rock, one sister, Mrs. Anne Belle Wheeler of Ball Ground, Ga., and seven step-children. Molly and Davis. 1880 Meriwether County, Georgia census states Adoline Watley (38) was living with her children Mollie (17) Davis (15) and Addie (7). Adoline was a widow and she was born in Georgia.
