David, I don't have much, but here is what I have. Lewis is the son of James Gaddis, Sr. James was born c 1775 in NC. He married a woman named Sarah ?. I have 10 children listed for them: George William, Drew/Drury, Matilda, William, Mary (b. c 1800), Archibald (b. 26 Aug 1801), Lewis (b. c 1802), James, Jr. (c 1804), Iredell (b. c 1805), and Sarah (b 24 Dec 1813). George William married Susannah "Snook" Butt in Union Co., GA Mary married John Gurley Archibald married Nancy Ray in Habersham Co., GA Lewis married Margaret ? sometime before 1830. Children are Eline (b. c 1830); Eliza (b. c 1832), Allen (b. c 1836), Elvira (b. 1838), Margaret (b. c 1840), Paulina (b. c 1844), Archabald (b. 1846). James married Elizabeth ? Iredell married Liddia ? Sarah married John C.
