Michelle, The David Brackett you mention is the one I need more info on. He was born about 1830 in Rutherford Co., NC (no confirmation of this...just everyone says so!) And he was among those who gave land for Providence Church. Do you know any more about him? When he died, etc? And I believe David Newell Brackett was a son of David Morgan's brother, Thomas. Jerri
