I have a Dockery, who married an Ellis......in fact the names are the same as child #9 you listed as a child of George & Julia. I have: Andrew Jackson Dockery, b. 27 Apr 1855, d. 27 Nov 1926; m. Winnie Catherine Ellis 22 Dec 1888. She was born ca 1862; d. 1948 in Grandview (now Unaka) Cherokee Co., Nc. Andrew was son of Andrew Jackson Dockery and Elizabeth Lunsford, and Winnie was the daughter of James A. (sometimes seen as J. F. ) Ellis and Martha Jane Starnes. Their children were (1) Laura b. 10 July 1888; (2) Rosilee "Rose" b. 10 Jul 1889, d. 30 Dec 1942 Cherokee Co., NC; m. William Memory Young in Cherokee Co., NC; (3) George W. b. Mar 1893 m. Ethel Dockery; (4) Arizona b. 23 Aug 1897 Cherokee Co., NC; m. 1st-James Garfield "Garr" Cook b. 1873 TN, and 2nd William Watson; (5) John Wesley b. 15 Oct 1897; (6) Ora b. May 1899 and (7) Mary Ann b. 1902 m. ? Coker. The names are the same, but the parentage is not ??? Any ideas?
