I have a David Brackett (born 1830) who married Eunice "Nicey" Hunt. Is this the same David Brackett? It also says in my notes that David was a member of the 23rd Regiment of GA Infantry, Army of TN, Confederate States of America, Company B. They were all members of Providence Church since they were Methodists. I think one of his brothers was a Methodist preacher. I can check for you next weekend. The Brackett's were founding members of Providence. Michelle [email protected] wrote: > Does anyone know of David Brackett's latter life? Is he listed in the 1900 census in Union Co. or did he die earlier? Did wife Nicey Hunt predecease him? And did her remarry? Where is he buried? (His grandson, Joe Lane Akins said most of his family was buried at Pleasant Grove Cem., but that seems unlikely given David's connections to Providence Church.) These questions are for my husband, who is David and Nicey Brackett's 3rd great grandson. thanks, Jerri In Mpls. ==== GAUNION Mailing List ==== The Union Co.
