Hello Roy, Found this which I believe is your Lola on 1880 Census d/o Thomas Colwell, age 25; in 1870 c there is a Thomas Caldwell, s/o Alex Caldwell who is probably the same. I didn't see any spellings with Colwell on 1870 index but variations on other census. Take you pick in variations of spellings.
