As a matter of fact, we are having the first Thomas Family Reunion to include all the ancestors of Aaron Thomas who settled on Rose's Branch of the South Toe River on Saturday, July 15, 2000 at the Toe River Campground near Celo and Bowditch, NC. It would be great if you could come to the reunion, as there will be many family genealogist there with pictures and family history and swapping information on their line of descendants. The Toe River Campground is actually located on the old Aaron Thomas property. There is a Thomas family cemetery located on this property, and just across the river and up the side of the mountain, there is another Thomas Cemetery that the land was donated for by my great grandfather, William Jasper Thomas.
