    3. Its like trying to connect to the SMITH family looking for THOMAS connections. I received information regarding a few pages from a book by Lloyd Richard Bailey, Sr. ed. of THE HERITAGE OF THE TOE RIVER VALLEY. The ancestors are as follows: 1.Joseph W. Thomas born abt 1755 in Virginia m. ? 2.Aaron "The Elder" Thomas abt 1775 in French Broad River Area, N.C. m. Elizabeth Hunsucker. They came to Union County about 1830's had the following children: 3. John Thomas 1796-1891 m. Lucinda "Cindy" Wilson had 11 children. 3. Joseph "Jose" G. Thomas b. 1894 m. Nancy? had 6 children 3. Robert "Hose" Hosea Thomas 1806-1879 m. Sarah Howell died in Kentucky. 3. Jobe Thoms 1818-1885 m. Nancy Deyton had 10 children 3. James "Jim" Thomas 1809-1886 m. Louise Ralson 3. William H. Thomas 1810 m. Nancy Willis (this is our line) 4. Joseph Monroe Thomas 1836-1918 m. Naomi Adaline Hayes 1847-1934 4. Cyntha Thomas b. about 1842 4. John W. Thomas b. 1845 4. William J.
