    1. [GAUNION] WETZEL DNA
    2. Jacob WETZEL b. abt. 1751 is my g g g g  grandfather. I have been researching him for years and years and have not yet found his parents. Jacob WETZEL was a RWS.  One of my cousins has been able to prove his line back to him, and has been accepted into SARS.  This cousins sister has applied to the DARS and will probably be accepted soon. Jacob WETZEL was born about 1751, I kinow not where, but he showed up in Lincoln Co., NC quite a while before the ARW. He married a Margaret Summey, dau of Peter Summey. He moved down to Buncombe Co., NC about 1802, he died in 1824 in Henderson Co., NC.  An area that used to be in Buncombe Co., NC. I have found a website that will do DNA tests and compare them with other early, early Wetzels.  They only have a couple of tests already posted. Others will be showing up as the website is fairly new. Of course it is not free!   I am asking if any descendants of Jacob WETZEL  who read this and  would like to share in the cost, to contact me. The test will be $159.00, altogether  Please contact me to join us.  I will see how many wants to join for about a week. When I have a   good ideal of how many want to share in any discovery we may make I will then email you with what your share of the cost will be. The person donating the DNA for  our test must be a male that carrys the WETZEL surname. Jacob WETZEL was the father of eight children, 3 of which was boys....John, Henry and Jacob.  There are living men that carry the name of WETZEL!  HOWEVER TO SHARE IN THE COST AND GET THE RESULTS YOU CAN BE A MALE OR FEMALE. I would love to find proof of Jacob WETZEL back to Europe, which is what the WETZEL website says is it object. Wylene Alston WyleneL@aol.com
