    2. --part1_6c.6651e10.277d8083_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Dear Georgia Searchers, =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0This is one desperate attempt to find my John Hill (age 19 in= 1850) who=20 was married to Permilia (age 21 in 1850) sometime c 1849. =A0I have subscrib= ed=20 to EVERY Georgia Rootsweb list (120 of them) in hopes that someone out there= =20 knows something about my Hill line. =A0So, forgive me if you get this e-mail= =20 several time over. =A0Just delete me if you don't know anything. =A0slowly,=20= I=20 will un-subscribe tot he list as I see that I might not have any connection=20 in that county. =A0I am looking for ANYTHING. =A0Land grants, marriage bonds= ,=20 wills.....anything. =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0My story goes like this: =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0I am Susan HIll, daughter of Ferrell Glen Hill the son of Bou= rbin=20 Maxwell=20 Hill who is the son of Morgan Maxwell Hill who is the son of John Hill.=A0=20 =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0My search ends in 1850, Mississippi, Simpson County.=A0 I fin= d John, his=20 wife=20 Permilia and twin children (1 yr old) living in Simpson County, Mississippi.= =A0=20 In 1960, I do not find John and his family anywhere in Mississippi.=A0 In 18= 70,=20 Permilia shows up with the remainder of the children and Morgan Maxwell=20 living near by, all in Newton County, Mississippi. =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0My Aunt gave me a paper on her genealogy she wrote when she w= as in grade=20 school. (Just the other day I asked her again about the papaer.=A0 She state= d=20 that her mother gave her the information and that she didn't know any more=20 about John.) In the paper, it states that her grandfather (Morgan) went to=20 Georgia as a small boy.=A0 I believe this to be during the 1860s since Morga= n=20 and his twin sister were born in ca. 1849.=A0 I also know that Permilia is f= rom=20 Georgia (as stated on the 1870 census).=A0 The paper also states that John w= as=20 born in Nashobia County, Mississippi, BUT Nashobia County wasn't formed at=20 the time of his birth. =A0It was Indian Territory (John or Permilia might be= =20 Indian somehow?)=A0 There are HILLs in that county, but none that I can conn= ect=20 to=20 John, Permilia or Morgan. =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0The last child of this family was born in 1863 and was listed= as being=20 born=20 in Mississippi, so this means that sometime pre Civil War, John, Permilia an= d=20 children went to Georgia. =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0The largest problem here that I have is not knowing Permilia'= s maiden=20 name,=20 and the next big problem is Georgia is a very large state when you think=20 about searching EACH county! =A0So, here I am sending e-mail to each and eve= ry=20 county! =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0So I appeal to the Georgia Rootsweb (County) lists, please, d= oes anyone=20 know anything about the family listed above?=A0 Any little tid-bit might be=20= a=20 HUGE step for=20 me.=A0 I have been at this side of the family now since 1980.=A0 Twenty year= s=20 later and I still haven't gotten past the 1850s! =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0Please send a
