ROSE BIRDWELL: I am glad to see the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on your survey list. I have a great many kinfolk buried in that Cemetery. Harmony Grove Baptist Church is one of the oldest churches in Union County and many of the pioneers were buried in that cemetery. As a matter of fact, my great-great grandpa "Lost John Rich" was buried there in an unmarked grave sometime in the 1800's. Your survey showed up a grave site that I have been looking for a long time and that is "W.D.TEAGUE." I did not know where he was buried. The tombstone is shown on Page 3 of your survey and it is hand made with no dates. He was at one time the Sheriff of Union County and he was married to my Grand Aunt Nancy Rich (who is buried in the Rich Cemetery in Owltown District). You made a mistake, however, when you said that this Cemetery was on Owltown Road in Arkaquah. It is in ARKAQUAH, BUT IT IS NOT ON OWLTOWN ROAD. Owltown Road is in "Owltown District"--not Arkaquah District. This cemetery is actually located at the intersection of TOWN CREEK SCHOOL ROAD and TRACKROCK GAP ROAD in Arkaquah.
