Dear CAT, I want to thank you and all the other people that worked on the censuses. My Mother had a stroke after by-pass surgery. A month before she died my father had a stroke. I was with my Mother when she died. When I left her, I went straight to the Rehab and started taking care of my Father. I didn't have any real time to grieve for my Mother. I was so busy with my Father. One day I found the Union County site and I started looking for relatives. And to my surprise I found a lot of them. But what brought me real peace was when I found my Mother in the 1920 Census. She was seven months old. I sent the site to all of my family. It was very healing. Thank you all very much. Hi Karen, Thanks for your note. I can certainly relate to your situation with your parents. I am having to live thru the same thing today. My pappa died in 1990 and my Mama was already showing signs of Alzheimers but was in good health otherwise. She's now in final stages and I'm at the nursing home just about every day. With no siblings, I'm having to do everything. It is so very stressful and exhausting but I can't imagine not doing it. After she's gone, I'll be moving to Blue Ridge [Fannin Co.] permanently. Already bought some land to build my permanent vacation log home. If I ever have time to go to the library, I bet I find my mama on the 1920 Polk Co., TN census....<BG> Warm regards, CAT [email protected] wrote: > Dear CAT, > > I want to thank you and all the other people that worked on the > censuses. I've been taking care of parents for six years now. I understand the stress and the exhausting. I've had to make to many medical decisions about their lives. I haven't been in a movie theater in six years. My sisters take turns come over Saturday so I can get groceries for the week. That's the only day I get out. My computer keeps me sane. Thank you for writing it's nice to know that I'm not alone. Karen Carol Ann Tindell wrote: > > Hi Karen, > > Thanks for your note. I can certainly relate to your situation with your > parents.
