MURRAY (b.9 Jan. 1870-GA; d.6 June 1946-OK) married Ninnie SNYDER. William apparently had a half-brother, "Gains," whose son, Jim MURRAY went to Oklahoma and lived with Will and Ninnie, then returned to Georgia. William E. MURRAY is the son of W.S. MURRAY married (2) Nancy PETTY (They resided in Fannin Co., Ga). Gains MURRAY (being Will's half-brother) may be the son of W.S. MURRAY married (1) Caroline ROGERS, whose family appears in the 1850 Union Co., Ga. census, but does not list a son by the name of Gains. Gains may be another given name for one of the sons listed. Would like to hear from anyone researching Gains Murray and his son, Jim.
