John Solomon Curtis, 1797, Buncombe NC had 9 sons and 1 daughter. His youngest son Jasper Newton Curtis was Jim's gggrandfather. Can't find John Solomon's parents or siblings. Then on my side I have a Mary Pauline (Polly) Curtis w/o Clark Bird/Byrd, bn 1802 Burke co NC. I haven't been able to trace Polly's family. Isn't it strange they both come from about the same area and about the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your time.
