Carol: I'm trying to find out what happened to William Miller, my gggrandfather. He is listed in the Union County 1860 Census (Ivy Log, I think) with his wife Rhoda Russell Miller, but then in the 1880 census she has remarried. I'm assuming he died in the Civil War, but I can't find any record of him. It doesn't help that his name is rather common. I'd appreciate anything information you could share. Thank you so so much, Melanie Heininge Carol wrote: > I can do lookups on Confederate soldiers, sailors and private citizens who died 1861-1865 in Federal prisons or military hospitals. > Carol > > --- > Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. > Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). > Version: 6.0.177 / Virus Database: 86 - Release Date: 8/7/00 > > ==== GAUNION Mailing List ==== > To unsubscribe, send your email to > [email protected] with only the > word "unsubscribe" in the body of your email.
