    3. Wylene, People should be aware of the risk of submitting information without reservation of rights, UCC 1-207, Without Prejudice. This provision is in accordance to the United States Code and the United States Constitution. This organization appears to be for profit. Therefore, it falls under the provisions of Commercial Law. I am not a Lawyer and this is intended to be information not practicing Law. Anyone reading this is advised to seek legal council for his or her legal needs. It is not illegal to give information. I recommend that if a person is able to read, they read this provision of the United States Code. Title 1, Section 207, in its entirety. I have submitted a notice to Ancestory.com notifying them of my reservations. I once wrote this on my forms when applying for a bank account about 3 days later, they returned my deposit with notice of cancellation of my account and declined to do business with me.... Interesting, huh...Everyone should be aware of the laws of the land and how the can be used for you and against you.. Joel C Ledford Joel C. Wylene If you have submitted a family tree to Ancestery.com you should know of the change about to be implemented by them. The Family Trees that have been donated to Ancestry for free distribution to other researchers are about to be sold by subscription: the OneWorldTree Preview cost will be $49.95 for 14 months. If you'd prefer that your information not be sold there is a link below which will take you a set of instructions on opting out by deleting your tree. After clicking on the link and arriving at the page, click on "Whats a preview?" near the top of the page. Read thoroughly and then click on "View our checklist" (which appears on #3). Among other things you will see the following sentence: "If for any reason you do not want your tree to be part of the new OneWorldTree service, you must delete it from the Ancestry World Tree database by tentatively May 12, 2004."scary!
