Just returned after being gone for nearly 3 weeks, so please excuse the late response to your message (below in full). regarding Hannah Nicholson and Samuel Morgan, you wrote: "...Mary Ann Marcella (my GGM) who married James Lafayette Davis around 1859 possibly in Union Co. GA or Polk Co.,TN. I know they were living in Polk Co. in 1860 along with Samuel and Hannah. " Can you give me census house numbers for them? I, and friends also had Nicholsons in 1860 Polk and we're trying to sort them between the lines of Isaac (1776?-1856?) and John (1763-1858) Nicholson, both of whom were in Union Co. Ga in the 1850's. Both lines were in 1860 Polk.
