Roberts who was also on the 1840 (and 1850) Union Co. census. He moved to Lumpkin Co. about 1856, where he remained until his death in 1887. There is also a William Roberts and Johnson Martin Roberts on the 1840 Union Co. census. Johnson M. was the son of William. I have not proven a connection between Miles and William yet. I'm glad to know where Richard went. Do you know if he is related to any of the other three? Would you mind sending me the info from the 1850 Carroll Co., TN census for the family of Richard so I can see his children's names and ages. Also, please have a look at the messages regarding William Roberts and Miles M. Roberts that I posted on this board on Jan 31, 1999.
