Hi Cousins I need help on I find in the 1850 Union County Census Elisha Garrett age 1, who I have reason to believe was my great great grandfather. If I can find this out it can help prove that Elisha is or is not my great great grandfather. All I have is a death certificate of my great grandfather Benjamin Franklin Garrett b: 1870 Benton Co., Arkansas. stating that Ben's parents were Elisha Garrett & Caroline Daniels both b: in Georgia. The death certificate was filled out by my grandfather Elisha Joseph Garrett. My grandfather's name was Elisha Joseph Garrett & he was the oldest of 12 children of Benjamin & Susan (Lewis) Garrett 10 still living at that time. My granddad's name being Elisha Joseph & noticing the names of William's sons in the 1850 census as Elisha & Joseph I am encouraged. Also location & date both Caroline Daniels b: 1842 & Elisha Garrett b: 1849 are both workable for the date of Benjamin's birth b: 1870. I also would like to find where Elisha & Caroline were married & when. Where Caroline was b: & where her family lived from 1836-1870s. A. Smith Solomon, b:1869, never married I see Caroline's parents were married in Tattnall Co.., Ga. I am trying to establish where Caroline was born, possibly Tattnall Co., Ga.
