In 1850 William & Elender HOOPER McCLURE lived in Union co. Ga. In 1860 they were in the newly formed Towns co. Ga. They are parents of Elizabeth Jane McCLURE NELSON. They are listed in Civil War pension papers of Elisha NELSON whose parents also lived in Union co. & Towns co. Ga. I am trying to figure out if this is my William.
