GA Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/Union/676 Surname: LOFTIS, LOFTUS, PARTIN, PARTON, PARTEN ------------------------- ANDREW JACKSON LOFTUS married AGNES PARTIN/PARTON in 1880 after the 1880 census was taken. On the list of road commissioners for 1903-04 ANDREW J. LOFTIS/LOFTUS was listed for Gum Log Dist. On the 1920 census for Union Co. is the following: 116 Loftis, Andrew 62 H (son of Robert Marion and Margaret Caroline Loftis) and Agnes W 61. His parents are buried in Antioch Cem. in Ivy Log. I have seen no trace of them other than what is mentioned above. Would like to know if they had children and where they were between 1880 and 1903 in Gum Log. Did not find them on any of your censuses. Also, does anyone know when they died or their place of burial? Andrew was called Andy Loftis and Agnes was called Aggie, at least by her family. Agnes was the daughter of John S. Partin and Harriet Kilpatrick. Any info or suggestions greatly appreciated.
