My grandfather Frank Dodd, so the story goes, was a tanner. Does anyone know of a place where he might have worked. He was born in 1882 died in 1906. He married Cornelia Byrd Cunningham in 1901, she died in 1926. She was the daughter of Thomas M. Cunningham and Rebecca Bird. They all lived not far from Confidence Methodist Church.
