My relative was Thomas (J. or S.) HARKINS. Born in N.C. C1828. Wife Nancy Taylor of N.C. Moved to Union County between 1850 & 1852. Second Child, Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie Beth) born in Union County C1852. Thomas died in Haywood County, N.C. but was taken back to Union County, GA to the "place he loved" for burial. I have not found the place yet. Could you be in this line of HARKINS? Would love to hear from you
