This gets more and more interesting, folks! I went back and looked into the family in the 1920 census, printing it in hopes this will help those trying to fit it all together. All spellings are as shown on the census: 1920 Union County, Arkaquah District, page 226-B household #33 lines 53-58 NICHOLSON Andrew A. head owns farm m/w age 47 married GA GA NC farmer/general farm Randy wife f/w age 32 married GA GA GA Eldoradi daughter f/w age 9 single GA GA GA Tedy son m/w age 8 single GA GA GA Carrister or Cannister (name is very hard to read) son m/w age 4yrs 6mos GA GA GA Eliza brother m/w age 59 divorced GA GA NC farmer/general farm JERRY TAYLOR, I zeroed in with the zoom feature on this census and could finally make out what appears to be "Carrister" but then again, the "r" could be an "n". This microfilm of the census is really smudged, making it hard to read. I looked into the Georgia Deaths Database (1919-1998) but could not find anything for this son. Nothing in the Cemetery Surveys Database either, so he probably died young and is in an unmarked grave. The brother mentioned above, Eliza, is probably COLUMBUS E. NICHOLSON, born 1860 in Georgia.
