Gayle, I have been using google search for your family. I'm not really lucking out, but have seen enough now to realize that your Garretts may not be part of mine. If they are, it's back aways, but still see the site I told you about and take a look. Your GARRETTs, MASHBURNS actually came out of the same region of NC as my LONGs and are intermd. I have no direct lines to them, but know that several were married into the collaterals. I also have THOMPSONs which I am stuck on. If you find you have any links to any of those names let me know.
