I can help a little with the SELFs. They went back and forth between Lumpkin and Union Cos....with some landing in White Co., GA. You'll need to perform a simultaneous research project with books open from all 3 counties to get the big picture on all the SELFs. They aren't easy to sort out and the deed records help a great deal. Let me know if I can help you further....
