there are two books which may help you, one is by Sharon Dolainte (Dolante?) and it's called something like "Early MD and VA Colonists Families". I'll have to look it up EXACTLY, because that is from memory. It's very good, includes sources but it's also limited and so pricey. the other book I feel real stupid about, I found on my one visit to SLC FHC. I had the GARRETTs, the YOUNGs, DILLARDS in it. Whitmore, my line, md. into it and there is a few other connections so it has some spotty data on them. Hope this is of some help and let me know if you do find something further.
