    2. Who ever is having problems with this probably hit the spam button instead of the delete button on an email message from the message board. If this is the case, it can be fixed by clicking on the Mail button on the tool bar at the top of the screen, selecting the spam folder, selecting the email from the message board (if you find one here) and selecting the "this is not spam" button. This should fix the problem for individuals who are having this specific difficulty.

    2. I have AOL 9.0 and I didn't have to change a thing in order to receive my mail from Lists at rootsweb. If someone does get this mail blocked by the spam filter all they have to do is to click on it and then click the button that says this is not spam and it won't block it further. Again, though I didn't have to do this for any of the Lists at rootsweb.

I found this on another list, but consider it important enough to pass on to all aol users To those of you who are considering signing up for the new AOL:  Please be aware that its spam filter will not let messages from the mailing lists through unless you do a lot of fancy configuring.  I have never been on AOL so I can be no help in telling you how to do it. We have several members who have been removed from the list because the new version of AOL is refusing the mail.
