West HARKINS and Sarah NICHOLSON had the following children: 2 i. Joseph HARKINS was born in 1842 in Georgia. 3 ii. Jesse HARKINS was born in 1844 in Georgia.

Janice, Would you check that Cherokee Land Lottery for Thomas Lafayette FOX? He and wife Elizabeth Anderson FOX left Burke Co., N.C. in the early 1850's with their first three children, Samuel Anderson FOX (b.1847 Burke Co), James Taylor FOX (b. 1848 Burke Co), Mary Ann FOX (b. c1851 Burke Co) and according to the 1860 Cherokee Co, their fourth child, Alexander L. FOX, was 8 years old, born in Fannin Co., Ga, before settling down in Cherokee County, and having their remaining four children, Louisa Anderson, Emily Jane, Thomas P. and George FOX, all born in Cherokee Co., N.C.
