Hi Ron: Do you know what ethnic origin the name Polesa is from? This is not in my book but there is a German-Polish surname of Potulice. That probably is not the answer, but it is the closest I found. Ciss could possibly be Cicero, but I find no spelling of Ciss in the book. The book is for naming a baby, and I'm sure others like it are available. It doesn't have archaic names but it does have the favorite names for babies in different countries. I have just received a copy of "A Curtis Genealogy". This is why I am trying to find a connection because they are listed on her death certificate as her parents but she is not listed in the book.
