Does anyone know the connection if any of Ephraim Liles, Akilly Liles and Hampton Liles (indexed as Silses in 1830 Twiggs census) If memory serves (which it doesn't sometimes) Hampton may have been on a Land Lottery. DORIS, THERE IS A LYLES ON THE 1840 TWIGGS CENSUS WHO WAS A REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIER. I HAVE ALSO SEEN HIS NAME ON SOME OTHER REVOLUTIONARY WAR LISTS FROM GEORGIA.I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING RELATING THE LYLES MEN TO EACH OTHER. IT IS NOT A COMMON NAME. GOOD HUNTING.
