There are also an Ephraim and Akilly there. Hampton moves to Barbour and Butler Cos in south AL. John and sons Sherrod/Sherwood and Cassius are nearby in Covington Co. Cassius named a son Hampton. Hampton is said to have married Rebecca Kent. Was son William (my line) born in Ga or AL. William married Martha Ann Shows/Schaus in Butler Co AL. His sister married Nathaniel Rogers and both stayed in AL while Hampton moved on toward TX with sons George, THomas and Sol. There may also be a Mattie, Catherine and Francis.
