The Julia Kent I referred to, I later discovered, was NOT the daughter of Benjamin. She was formerly Julianne Malden, daughter of Caleb Malden of Bibb County, Georgia . She had been married twice, once to a William DeBow, widowed, and then married to a Reuben Kent in Richmond County, GA which lasted only a few weeks as he died shortly after that. Then she married Asa Ernest, and bore him a house full of children.
