You information really fits what I know about a John PERRY, age 60 in the 1860 Jefferson County, GA census born NC. At that time he was living with his sister or sister-in-law, Ann DANIEL born 1809. In her 1861 Will Ann DANIEL lists her sister as a Maria HARDON and her brother as a John PERRY. I know the John PERRY living with her is her brother or brother-in-law but I am really interested in your PARTAIN. I wonder if this could have been mistakenly written as HARDON in the synopsis of this will. What do you think? I also know there were a lot of collateral links between my DANIEL family in Jefferson County, GA and TWIGGS County. What do you see relating to this Ann DANIEL. Was she a PERRY or a PARTAIN? Also, what connections, if any, do you see to the DANIEL family. My GGF, was Robert W. DANIEL, Esq. (1810-1865) whose brother, James L. DANIEL married this "Ann" as his second wife before 1850. James died or disappears from the census by 1860. I do not know what happened to him. Robeert marries three times -- a MURPHEY in 1836, a FLORENCE in 1841 and my GGM, Mary Jane RENEAU in 1852. There were also RENEAUS in TWIGGS county but not my direct line.
