Johnnie Lee Crosby Jr.     Johnnie Lee Crosby, Jr. -MACON - Johnnie Lee Crosby, Jr., 63, of Jeffersonville Road, died Friday, February 28, 2003, at his residence after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Monday, March 3, 2003, in the Chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with burial at New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County. Rev. Ron Watson and Rev. Silas Price will officiate. -Mr. Crosby was a lifelong resident of Bibb County. He was the son of the late Johnnie Lee Crosby, Sr. and Lois Nichols Crosby. Educated in the Bibb County Public Schools, Mr. Crosby was a retired truck driver, working for Wood Trucking. He served his country in the Georgia National Guard. Mr. Crosby was a foster parent to over one hundred and thirty children throughout his life and was a member of Henderson Road Baptist Church in Jones County, where he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by a son, Lee Price Crosby, and by a brother, Gene Crosby. -Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife: Louise Crosby of Macon; children and spouses: Teresa and David Fowler of Gray, Donna and Michael Frady of Stockbridge, Robbie and Tonya Crosby, Kenneth and Tammy Crosby, Sheila and Alan Harper, Rhonda and Wade Vaughn, Patricia Crosby, Edward Crosby and Michael Carter, all of Macon; a brother: Buck Crosby of Gray; a sister: Patricia Stewart of Gray; and by sixteen grandchildren. -In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of Central Georgia, Post Office Box 6533, Macon, Georgia 31208. -The family may be contacted at the residence at 3964 Jeffersonville Road in Macon. -Bridges Funeral Home in Gray has charge of arrangements.
