The funeral was held in Jeffersonville Sunday afternoon with Rev. J. Frederick Wilson, the Rev. D. Morris Smith and the Rev. A. W. Quillian officiating. There were friends and relatives present from far and near, and was one of the largest funerals held in a long time in the Jeffersonville Methodist Church. The large array of floral offerings attested the love and esteem in which he was held by those who were close to him in his every day walk of life. He was the father of our own Mrs. J. J. Johnson and Mr. W. H. Griffin., who have the sympathy of Cochran friends. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Gillie Myrick; three sons, W. H. Griffin, of Cochran, R.S. and L. L.
