Elijah was a Revolutionary War soldier from Halifax County NC. He moved to Burke Co GA by the mid-1790s and remained there until at least 1805. But soon afterwards he settled in Twiggs County, where he died in 1823. Elijah's wife Pheraby was a daughter of Moses Knight and Charity Carter (daughter of Kindred Carter who died 1777, Edgecombe Co NC). Thanks.
