Apparently he was married to a Martha J. Anders or Andrews. They moved to Carroll county, GA without him, I think. Any relatives out there? John's daughter Martha married John Henry Thompson about 1865 in Carroll county.

John and Martha were my great grandparents. I would be happy to correspond with anyone concerning them.
