Does anyone have a map of the 28th district land lottery plots? I am looking for lot 221 in the 28th district. My gggGrandfather won this lot in the 1807 land lottery when he was living in Burke County. I have a copy of the original land grant that he registered in 1810. He ended up living in Laurens county but I am trying to figure out if he ever lived in Twiggs County. His name was John Clark which makes tracking him very difficult. His wife was Amelia Sikes and he probably had two children at the time he would have been in Twiggs County -- Nancy and Calphrey. appreciate any help. Sandy slsamz@aol.com
