I was excited to see my great grandmother listed on this list as "Mrs. Mary Benford (dismissed)." Although I wonder why she was dismissed. She was Mrs. Robert Meroland (Maryland) Benford. I believe she might have been a Bloodworth before marriage. I also think she is buried in an unmarked grave in the Mt Carmel Baptist Church cemetery. There is a Benford monument there with 4 associated graves. I think that she and her husband are buried there. You never know what is going to turn up on one of these lists.
