    3. With Gratitude and a great deal of excitement, I would like to say that the 1830 Census is available online at the Houston County Webpage. http://www.rootsweb.com/~gahousto/ Terre Moody Walker has over the past several months been working on transcribing the 1830 Census and has made it available to Houston County Researcher's online. This is a brilliant effort on her part and I would like to thank her on our behalf. Terre grew up in Houston County and has a sustaining love of place, for Perry and Houston County. Houston County researchers reap the benefits of this, as we can now search through the Census of 1830, as well as her information on Civil War Regiments from Houston County and even a PostCard tour of Old Perry. The Links are there from the Houston County web page. Thanks to Terre for her splendid efforts on our behalf. Terre you are a real Georgia Peach. Thanks to Randall Walker for his proof-reading. Houston County researchers appreciate your efforts, Best Regards, Gaila Merrington Houston County Web Mistress PS This is a large Excel Spreadsheet and it will take a while to download. To find a name, use Control F type in the name and then hit Find next. This will take you to First and Last names but it is the quickest way to find the names you are researching.
