They lived on land lot #284, though I do not know where this number comes from. They are said to have settled 12 miles northeast of Hawkinsville on Shellstone Creek. They lived there between 1815 and 1823. Their children: Sarah mar. Ely Horne John J. mar. Maridley Mayo Lawrence mar. Maranda Ann Bias Robert Sanders mar. Sarah Elizabeth Wooten Rebecca mar. Dougal C. McPhail Henry M. mar. Susan O. Mary Ann mar. William W. Mayo Thomas Jordan They could very well have been in Bleckley Co. which I believe is or was the other side of the creek.
