I'm pleased to announce that Nancy Crawford has volunteered to be the new CC for Twiggs County. She has just completed the 1850 census for the county. Nancy will continue the site which is presently located: http://www.rootsweb.com/~gatwiggs/index.htm We're looking forward to her enthusiastic leadership, but we need all of you to help by sending in your little bits and pieces. I'm sure you have some files on your ancestors in Twiggs....and whatever you have might be helpful to someone else. If you are able to make copies of anything from the Archives or libraries, do keep in mind that others might be helped by what you gain as well. Virginia
